To the Mother Earth - (A Lyrical Look)

The Mother that gives Everything we Need

The more that I see of you,
The more smitten by you I am.
The more close I feel to you,
The more enchanted by you I am.

Even as I enjoy soaking in the golden sun
And though I cast my gaze at the blue sky,
As I walk upon the carpet of fallen leaves

The Creative Relationship Between the Blank Page and The Writer

By  JVCXV

Anyone who is a writer or has ever been given the task to write anything, be it a story, opinion, school paper or any of the other myriad of writings I left out, has always encountered the blank page.  Well, unless you do or have done your all of your writing on a computer, then I guess technically it would could be called a blank screen but I digress.

Nitpicking semantics aside, the relationship between the two is an interesting one to say the least.  This is because depending on the writer's situation, the blank page can be something that they will either embrace or down right curse.

A Battle with Writers Block

Written By JVCXV

And just like that his pen stopped.  Was his story finished?  Not even close.  Those words, sentences and paragraphs which were flowing from him like a fast moving river seconds earlier, had now dried up like a desert.  At first, he figured it was momentary, like a train pulling into a station, stopping briefly before resuming its journey.  However, as the time went on, that theory was proving not to be the case.  Minutes passed and he was left both perplexed and paralyzed, with pen in one hand, head in the other and the notebook staring up at him with its  incomplete page.

“What We See and Hear: Why I Write and Why You Should!”

By Mr. Ashley Morris

My particular line of work requires one to hone two key requirements that are central to this job: the capability to talk, and an ability to listen. These abilities require specific skill sets that can only be acquired with the wisdom which accompanies time and experience.

Just as our parents teach us specific words and phrases, they must also show us vocal inflections, tones, and harmonies. All these are necessary to be learned in order to master the arts of speaking and listening.

A Colourful Life

by Chinmay Bhandari

Just Imagine for a moment! What if there were no other colours and the world had only been created in black and white? The sky would have not been blue, trees would have not been green and roses would have never been red. What kind of life would it be? Interesting thought, isn’t it?

There are three things in my opinion, which have set the human heart apart from rest of the living beings; Music, words and colours - the three gifts of human life. They are the holy trinity of our expressions. Music is the pronunciation of our emotions. Word is a description and colours are visuals of the emotion. All three of these have their own flair.

One Last Hope...

She stood over the ruins of some city that must have been buzzing with life until some time ago. She picked up the dead flower that lay besides her feet. “What a destruction!” she thought, as she gazed across the horizons. The remains of a once flourishing planet were surrounding her. There was neither a movement nor any trace of life.

As she paused for a while, the events of the past played out there, in front of her eyes. It was a judgement day to say the least. Clouds rained fire, oceans heaved and the planet quaked for once and all. The most developed species were destroyed as were the most primitive forms of life.

Those poor creatures struggled, they fought back, and they tried their best. However, they were just too small to succeed in conquering their own demise. It took sometime but eventually all of them were gone, wiped out.

The World of Social Networking: An Attitude Adjustment Away from Glory

By Iam D Real Deal yo
Homo Sapiens are one of the most developed and evolved species living on Planet Earth. While they were given all the resources to dwell and outshine the other living creatures on this planet, they were never taught anything. All that they learned, was through trial and error. It was the method they had to  make it on their own.

This is believed to be true for their ancestors as well. They were not taught everything by birth, they worked their way by discovering many essential things on their own.

One such key essential was the discovery of the art of “Communication”. Yes! Communication is an essential art by which we are enabled to exchange our thoughts, ideas and emotions with others. It helped us stay connected and helped us weave a social network for human beings.

Music - The Language Of Every Heart

By Chinmay Bhandari

It has been ages since humanity has evolved into what it is today. From the attraction of wheel to exploring skies above, the journey has been secular and mufti-faceted.

One thing however, remained constant along with the indigenous curiosity, which is a wish to express oneself. We, humans have searched for thousands of ways to express ourselves.

Every form of art, every type of sport has been conceived for that same reason. One form however rose above all others and remained the integral part of life, that form is Music.
